Eurofighter fighter jet refuels at Corfu Airport

CORFU. An unusual visitor made an appearance at Corfu Airport today. A Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jet landed on the runway as scheduled for refueling.
The military aircraft started from its base in Akrotiri, Cyprus.
The Eurofighter Typhoon is a 4.5th generation fighter jet of European manufacture. It is an all-weather, multi-role aircraft produced by the Eurofighter consortium. The Typhoon is one of the most advanced examples of work by the European aerospace and defence industry, and it serves in the air forces of six countries.
