Boy, 16, taken to hospital after fight with 15-year-old boy

On Friday evening, 17 May, a 16-year-old boy was beaten by another 15-year-old youth near the Psychiatric Square and had to be taken to hospital, as reported by his parents.

The mother of the teenager reported the incident in early on Saturday morning, stating that her son received blows to his face and body. Corfu Police took on the case and started an investigation.

On Saturday, the 15-year-old was arrested for causing bodily harm, as were his parents for neglect of a minor.

On Sunday, 19 May, all three were brought to appear before the prosecutor, where a case file was prepared, and were then released.

The police investigation is continuing.
