Free smear tests in memory of Anna Mouzakiti - More than 100 women examined
CORFU. Anna Mouzakiti΄s widower Dimitris Dafnis, a vascular surgeon, was present along with her mother Maria, her daughter Mariza and her mother-in-law Sappho.
In an atmosphere of deep emotion, free smear tests were conducted on Thursday, April 4th, in North Corfu Municipality, in memory of oncologist Anna Mouzakiti, who passed away on February 28th.
Present at the event were Anna Mouzakiti's widower, Dimitris Dafnis, a vascular surgeon, her mother Maria, her daughter Mariza, and her mother-in-law Sappho.
Also honouring the event with their presence were the Mayor of North Corfu, Giorgos Mahimaris, Corfu Hospital Director, Diamantina Egglezopoulou, and the Deputy Mayor of Circular Economy and Public Relations, Spyridoula Kokkali.
This initiative was carried out by North Corfu Municipality in collaboration with Corfu General Hospital and Agios Markos Health Centre and was supported by the following associations:

We warmly thank the midwives Chrysanthi Georgotà and Antonia Merianou for their valuable voluntary contribution to the testing process, as well as the Help at Home care nurse Dimitra Kokkinori for organising the appointments.
At the end of the event, balloons with Anna Mouzakiti's name were released.
The tests will continue until Saturday, April 6th, at Acharavi Regional Polyclinic.
