Corfu MP΄s response to Corfu Church decision

In response to the announcement of the Holy Synod of the Corfu Church, in which two Corfu MPs are condemned for their stance in the Greek Parliament and the approval of the law on same-sex marriage, Dimitris Biangis, the Corfu PASOK MP, made the following statement:

"I do not renounce my right to free will and my conscience, which is guided by my deep faith in Orthodoxy, a belief that no one can dispute. With all due respect to the Church, the targeting and the political division of the faithful evoke other times and bear no relation to the Church of Love."
