Ionian Islands Region at International Tourism Exhibition in Denmark

The International Tourism Exhibition "FERIE FOR ALLE 2024" took place in Herning, Denmark, from February 23rd to 25th. The Ionian Islands Region participated with its own stand at the Greek National Tourism Organisation booth. Over the three days of the exhibition, the number of visitors exceeded 55,000.

Tourist material was distributed at the stand, and a presentation of our islands was conducted. Several visitors are familiar with our region, having already holidayed on one of the islands, and expressed interest in visiting the rest of the Ionian Islands.

Three tour operators offered packages at special prices (for the exhibition) and were making direct reservations for our islands.

The Regional Governor of the Ionian Islands, Yiannis Trepeklis, attended the exhibition, holding meetings with tourism stakeholders and the Ambassador of Cyprus to Denmark.
