Corfu Social Cooperative wins Gold Award at Healthcare Business Awards 2023
CORFU. "According to data from the Ministries of Health and Employment, Corfu Social Cooperative is the largest social enterprise in Greece with 100 employees and serves as a strong example of successful social entrepreneurship practices in Europe."
(Corfu Social Cooperative) At the Healthcare Business Awards 2023 ceremony held on Monday, October 23, at the InterContinental Athenaeum Athens, Corfu Social Cooperative came first (Gold Award) in the category of improving accessibility and quality of life for workers. The Evaluation Committee recognised the outstanding achievements and effective initiatives of Corfu Social Cooperative in the areas of employment, training and social inclusion for socially vulnerable groups, implementing the Supported Employment Model. The award was received by the President of the Board of Directors, Maria Dimopoulou, and the CEO, Athanasios Papavlassopoulos.

Through the model network of social solidarity, the Social Cooperative provides direct and indirect support daily to more than 440 beneficiaries - individuals belonging to socially vulnerable population groups.
