Patient murdered at Corfu Hospital psychiatric clinic!
CORFU. There was a tragic incident on Thursday night at Corfu Hospital Psychiatric Clinic, with a 63-year-old female patient the victim.
The police were informed shortly before 10 o'clock at night. According to initial information, a 45-year-old man, also a patient at the clinic, attacked her for reasons that have not yet been disclosed. The woman was being treated in the Intensive Care Unit, and the assailant attacked her with a sharp object, fatally injuring her.
Police, the Forensic Department and the Medical Examiner are currently at the scene investigating the case.
The Hospital Administration has ordered a sworn administrative investigation to examine the circumstances under which the murderous attack occurred.
