Couple arrested for theft of money

CORFU. A 42-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman were arrested for theft yesterday morning, 22 August. They were located and apprehended as a result of police searches, as their investigation revealed that during the afternoon of 21 August, in a suburban area of the town, they had stolen 485 Euros from a man by distracting him.
The suspects were questioned by police and charged with joint participation in theft, and were then taken to appear before the Corfu Prosecutor.
