What brings the Vienna State Opera Choir to Corfu this summer? The baritone soloist of the Choir, the Corfiot Panayiotis Pratsos, is marrying the chosen of his heart, Elisabeth Strenn.
That is why at least 15 members of the Choir will sing for them with sopranos Roza Poulimenou and KS Birgid Steinberger. The internationally renowned organist Wolfgang Reisinger will also be there. The Vienna State Opera conductor Martin Schebesta will be conducting.

The anticipated ceremony will take place on Saturday 5 August at 18:00 at the Catholic Metropolitan Church (Duomo) in a lyrical atmosphere.
The bridesmaids will be the bride's sisters Maria and Antonia Strenn, while Nikos Bakos and Alexandra Kalaitzoglou will be groomspeople.
Panayiotis Pratsos is a baritone. His career has been developing abroad since 2014, while he has been a member of the Vienna Opera Choir since 2016. Elisabeth Strenn is a math and Spanish teacher.
