CORFU. The procedure had stopped for many years due to bureaucracy.
The tender process for the replacement of the turf at the Thinalio pitch will finally begin, following the decision of the North Corfu Municipality's Finance Committee on 23 November.
With this decision, the study and the terms of tender were approved for the supply, transport and placement of turf at the Thinalio football pitch, worth €194,000, and the tendering process with an online open tender is starting.
The North Corfu Municipality said that the process had stopped for many years due to bureaucracy.
The Municipal Authority would like to thank all those who contributed from the Ionian Islands Region and the North Corfu Municipality.
The cooperation of the Thinaliakos FC Board President and members and the Thinalio Gymnastics Union contributed to this positive development.
The tender process for the supply of tartan and the procedures for the infrastructure works at the Thinalio pitch athletics field is also starting.
The North Corfu Deputy Mayor for Works, Development & Investments Haritonas Koutsouris, the Thinaliakos FC Board President Christos Anemoyiannis and the Board members are collaborating for these projects.
