Bridges of cooperation between Central Corfu Municipality and foreign universities

CORFU. Meropi Ydraiou met with Marios Mayioladitis to discuss the Municipality΄s cooperation and interconnection with universities abroad and the development of robotics in schools.

The Mayor Meropi Ydraiou met with the former councillor Marios Mayioladitis in the context of her intention to cooperate with all those who can contribute with positive ideas and proposals.
 
At the meeting it was agreed that Mr. Mayioladitis would coordinate this new effort for the Central Corfu Municipality's interconnection with universities abroad and the development of robotics actions in Corfu schools.
 
 
No political character
 
According to the Municipality's announcement, "this cooperation has no political or party characteristics, while Mr. Mayioladitis will collaborate with the Municipality without being paid".
 
As the Mayor said, "this cooperation reflects our will to utilise all those who have positive suggestions and are willing to offer. Wherever they belong. Because Corfu's future belongs to everyone".
 
 
Positive proposals
 
Mrs. Meropi Ydraiou stated the following: "We are proving in practice that we want and can utilise people's willingness to contribute without asking for party credentials or doing any transactions.
 
This cooperation will bring positive actions for our Municipality, Mr. Mayioladitis has ideas and positive proposals.
 
There will be more such collaborations. Our goal is to mobilise all those who are willing to offer. Wherever they belong, whatever they vote."
 
Mr. Mayioladitis said that "the local government is a place of convergence and cooperation and Corfu does not belong to anyone, it is a matter for all of us.
 
We can have our own different opinions and maintain them, but also cooperate where necessary.
 
I want to thank the Mayor for showing that she has open horizons and knows the meaning of the word cooperation."
