CORFU. His sudden death shocked colleagues in the Tourist Police and all those who knew him.
Christodoulos Zapsas lost his life when he fell from a height at his home in Kastania, Viros at around 19:00 on Tuesday.
The 47-year-old police officer was doing some work when he apparently lost his balance and fell, suffering fatal injuries. An ambulance arrived at the scene immediately but it was already too late.
He worked in the Tourist Police and his death shocked colleagues and all those who knew him.
