ATHENS. EODY announced 10,528 laboratory confirmed new cases on Wednesday 22 June - including 227 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 10,528 confirmed new cases today. The total number of cases in Greece is now 3,573,052, of which 48.7% are males.
The number of probable reinfections over the last 24 hours is 1,631 and the total number of reinfections since the beginning of the pandemic is estimated at 152,749 (4.1% of the total number of positive cases).
There were 9 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 30,124. 95.7% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
94 patients are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 70 and 92.6% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 4,715 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 169 (+26.12%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 144.
