CORFU. The festival is being held on the occasion of International Children΄s Day on 1 June.
The Ukrainian ΄Chervona Kalyna΄ Society is organising a festival on the occasion of International Children's Day, which is celebrated on 1 June.
The Festival is taking place at 17:00 on Sunday 29 May at Benitses Marina.
Ukrainian refugee children will be taking part and, along with their parents and other Society members, have made various handmade souvenirs to give out to Greek children and adults in a message of peace and friendship.
They have also prepared dances and songs as well as musical games that they will play with the children that come along to the marina. There will be an enjoyable programme with lots of fun, games and surprises.
The Ukrainian children want to get across the message "We are children just like you. We also have the right for our childhood to have peace, security, love and the care of our parents. We also have the right to play, have fun, develop our talents, to learn and to have dreams. Come along so that we can meet up and have fun together!"
