Three Greeks and a Cypriot are on the Forbes 30 Under 30 List Europe 2022.

The list includes young leaders and innovators across industries spanning medicine, culture, fashion and others.

The 7th Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe List illustrates the power young entrepreneurs and leaders have to transform business and society. This year's list boldly redefines industries in almost 30 countries and includes 58% men, 41% womwn and 1% non-binary.

Alexandros grew up in Corfu before studying Chemistry at the University of Geneva. A pioneer fellow at ETH Zürich, has developed surgical adhesives to prevent post-surgery leakages, which can lead to sepsis and prove fatal. Anthis and his colleagues have raised over $500,000 in research funds and hopes to develop the tech through his startup Veltist. The findings and workings of the adhesive patch were published in the Journal of Advanced Functional Materials last year.

Marina Rafail-Vogiatzaki / Arts & Culture

A sixth-generation member of the Swarovski crystal family, Rafail-Vogiatzak founded her sustainable, luxury handbag business, Marina Raphael, in 2018. It's beloved by celebrities from Rita Ora to Jessica Alba, and operates with the goal of generating zero waste. The brand is on track to double sales this year to $2.6 million.



Stavros Papadopoulos / Technology

The son of Greek immigrants in Germany, Stavros Papadopoulos cofounded Lendis, a SaaS company that allows customers to set up and manage everything in the office: laptops, iPhones, software and even office furniture. The company recently raised $32 million in a Series A round led by Keen Venture Partners and Circularity Capital, bringing its total funding (including debt) to over $90 million.




Xenia Miscouridou / Science & Healthcare

Miscouridou, from Cyprus, is a research fellow at the University of Oxford, and aims to use machine learning models for social good to influence public policy. She helped characterize a new Covid variant of concern and its impact in Brazil, published in Science, which was used by policymakers such as WHO.
