ATHENS. EODY announced 22,107 laboratory confirmed new cases on Thursday 24 March - including 240 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 22,107 confirmed new cases today. 23 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 2,884,100, of which 49.2% are males. Over the last 7 days, 166 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,300 are connected with known cases.
There were 42 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 27,125. 95.3% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
344 patients are intubated in ICUs. 213 (61.92%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 131 (38.08%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 70 and 90.7% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 4,423 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 412 (-5.07%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 366.
