ATHENS. EODY announced 21,260 laboratory confirmed new cases on Friday 11 March - including 179 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 21,260 confirmed new cases today. 20 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 2,604,626, of which 49.4% are males. Over the last 7 days, 199 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,156 are connected with known cases.
There were 49 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 26,473. 95.2% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
361 patients are intubated in ICUs. 239 (66.2%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 122 (33.8%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 68 and 89.2% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 4,339 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 320 (-10.36%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 285.
