ATHENS. EODY announced 5,087 laboratory confirmed new cases on Friday 10 December - including 47 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 5,087 confirmed new cases today. 12 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 994,901, of which 50.5% are males. Over the last 7 days, 95 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 2,848 are connected with known cases.
There were 103 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 19,085. 95.3% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
702 patients are intubated in ICUs. 566 (80.63%) of intubated patients are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, 136 (19.37%) are completely vaccinated. The average age is 64 and 79.9% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 3,600 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 376 (-12.35%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 417.
