CORFU. The man fainted and required immediate hospital attention.
Corfu Port Authority was informed on Sunday evening that a 52-year-old Greek passenger on the Venezia, sailing under the Italian flag, had fainted and required immediate hospital attention.
The Venezia docked at Corfu Port and the 52-year-old was taken by ambulance to Corfu Hospital, where death was confirmed.
Corfu Port Authority is conducting an investigation.
