ATHENS. EODY announced 3,076 laboratory confirmed new cases on Friday 27 August - including 51 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 3,076 confirmed new cases today. 22 cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 576,672, of which 51.1% are males. Over the last 7 days, 217 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 1,794 are connected with known cases.
There were 22 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 13,561. 95.3% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
337 patients are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 64 and 82.8% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 2,951 patients have been discharged from ICUs.
The number of new hospital admissions is 248 (-6.42%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 263.
