27 fines in Corfu on Thursday and Friday

IONIAN ISLANDS. A total of 27 fines were issued in Corfu and another 32 in the other Ionian Islands on Thursday 12 and Friday 13 August.
Ionian Islands police teams are continuing their checks to ensure that the measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus are being adhered to.
On Thursday 12 August, in Lefkada, a foreign national was arrested and fined €5,000 for violating home quarantine.
In addition, on Thursday 12 and early on Friday morning, 22 employees and customers in Corfu and 4 in Zakynthos were fined €300 each for not wearing masks.
Finally, €150 fines for not wearing masks in public vehicles were imposed on 5 people in Corfu.
