ATHENS. EODY announced 1,585 laboratory confirmed new cases on Friday 28 May including 17 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 1,585 confirmed new cases today. 6 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 398,898, of which 51.2% are males. Over the last 7 days 28 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 2,102 are connected with known cases.
There were 40 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 11,995. 95.1% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
521 patients are intubated in ICUs.The average age is 67and 85.6% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 2,411 patients have been discharged from ICUs
The number of new hospital admissions is 231 (12.14%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 227.
