Red Cross collecting basic necessities and donations of money for Elassona earthquake victims

Following the earthquake in the Elassona area and the several aftershocks which caused so much damage, the Red Cross is taking action to help those in need. A special bank account has been opened to try and collect as much money as possible for the earthquake victims.

Whoever wishes to help financially can deposit money in the following account:

The Red Cross is also asking people to donate the following: masks, antiseptics, fan heaters, longlife foodstuffs (evaporated milk, bottled water, milk powder for children, tinned goods, cereals, rusks, flour, pasta etc) to help those whose houses have been damaged and are having to live temporarily outdoors.

For those coming to donate goods all the necessary Covid measures will be observed.
