Food shop owner arrested in Corfu for violation of opening hours

CORFU. A total of 35 fines were issued in Corfu and another 13 in the other Ionian Islands on Wednesday 20 January.
Ionian Islands police teams are continuing their checks to ensure that the measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus are being adhered to.
A business owner was arrested yesterday, 20 January, and fined €3,000 for violation of opening hours. The business was also closed down for 15 days.
On 20 January fines of €300 for not wearing masks were imposed on 16 people in Corfu and 1 in Zakynthos.
€300 fines were also issued for lockdown violations as follows: 19 in Corfu, 5 in Cephalonia, 4 in Zakynthos and 3 in Lefkada.
