ATHENS. EODY announced 935 confirmed new cases and 5 deaths on Saturday 24 October. Total number of cases now approaching 30,000.
EODY announced that there were 935 confirmed new cases today. 47 of the cases are connected with known clusters and 44 were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 29,992, of which 55.5% are males. 3,828 (12.8%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 11,532 (38.5%) are connected with known cases.
91 patients - 30 female, 61 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 66 and 93.4% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 270 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 5 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 564. 213 (37.8%) were females and the average age was 79. 96.3% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
