CORFU. Corfu Union of Electrical Contractors has issued the following notice
NO TO ILLEGAL ELECTRICIANS
We, who are qualified electricians, do not play with your or your children's lives. We guarantee the proper functioning of your electrical installations. The 110 certified electricians in our union offer the following:
Safe electrical installation work and electrical plans.
Customers are considered jointly responsible in law if they offer work to illegal electricians. Do not trust anyone who claims to be an electrician unless they show you their electrician's ID and membership of the Hellenic Federation of Electrical Contractors Unions.
YES TO PROTECTION OF YOUR LIVES, NO TO ILLEGAL INSTALLATIONS
So remember - licensed electricians safeguard your houses and businesses and ensure that you avoid fines imposed on those who install electricity without a licence or qualifications.
