ATHENS. EODY announced 391 confirmed new cases on Friday 9 October.
EODY announced that there were 391 confirmed new cases today. 56 of the cases are connected with known clusters and 36 were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 21,772, of which 55.7% are males. 3,213 (14.8%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 8,892 (40.8%) are connected with known cases.
98 patients - 27 female, 71 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 68 and 90.8% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 237 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There was 1 death today taking the total number of fatalities to 431. 161 (37.4%) were females and the average age was 78. 96.5% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
