ATHENS. EODY announced 267 confirmed new cases for Saturday 3 October.
EODY announced that there were 267 confirmed new cases today. 22 of the cases are connected with known clusters and 25 were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 19,613, of which 55.8% are males. 3,019 (15.4%) of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 8,025 (40.9%) are from contacts with known cases.
Of the 239 domestic cases, 22 are connected with known clusters and 7 with EODY random sample testing in Attica.
79 patients - 24 female, 55 male - are intubated in ICUs. The average age is 69 and 86.1% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 219 patients have been discharged from ICUs
There were 7 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 405. 152 (37.5%) were females and the average age was 78. 96.3% had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
