CEPHALONIA. According to the Geodynamic Institute, the earthquake had a magnitude of 4.8 Richter and was also felt in Corfu.
There was a strong earthquake in Cephalonia at 04:56 on Sunday morning. According to the Geodynamic Institute, it had a magnitude of 4.8 Richter and was located on Cephalonia with its epicentre near Poros and a depth of 8km.
There was a strong tremor and a loud rumbling noise and worried residents, especially those in the south of the island, left their beds and houses. Up to now there have been no reports of damage.
