2nd Vinyl Bazaar at Polytechno



Polytechno is organising the 2nd Vinyl Bazaar on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th January.

n Saturday 11th from 22:00 the well-known DJ Mr. Z (aka Zois Chalkiopoulos) will be presenting an eclectic dance DJ set.

On Sunday 12th during the bazaar several friends will be spinning discs in the special Polytechno booths.

Exhibition of Maps: "Corfu by the Great Cartographers"



Corfu Municipal Art Gallery is exhibiting some of the artistically and scientifically important maps of Corfu from its collection.

From Thursday 25 April the works of these cartographers will be on exhibition in chronological order, covering four centuries, allowing us to see the development of cartography from the 17th century Baroque period, when aesthetics dominated, to the early 19th century, when there was an almost complete absence of any decorative items.

The exhibition will display 15 engravings in the central room of the Gallery's Permanent Exhibition.

Corfu Mountain Trail - Race and New Year's Cake in Ermones

The Corfu Mountain Trail New Year's Cake for 2020 will be cut at around 12:00 and there will some surprises, just like every year!


Agious Deka: Trek and New Year's Cake



Level of Difficulty: 1 - 2
Length: 10km
Altitude: 450m
Estimated duration: 3 hours

The trek will set off from Kinopiastes and end at the peak of Agious Deka, where the New Year's cake will be cut.

DEPARTURE:
Meet-up at 09:30 at the tourist coach park at the Old Port (opposite Mavros Gatos).
Alternatively at 10:00 at Kiopiastes crossroads (just before the EKO filling station).
 
Those wishing to go directly to Agious Deka should be at the car park next to the cemetery at 10:30.
