All quiet in Corfu Town on the second day of 2020

CORFU. Things were very quiet in Corfu Town on the second day of the year with most of the shops closed for the annual stocktaking.
Shops will be back to normal tomorrow and winter sales begin on the second Monday of January (13th) and will continue until Saturday 29 February.
Despite the lovely weather, it was one of the few days on which there was no traffic congestion in the central streets and there were plenty of parking spaces. Things were much more relaxed with a few residents enjoying a walk and a day off from their daily routine.
There were plenty who chose to relax in cafetrias - which were amongst the few businesses that were open today.
