CORFU. Warm hugs and embraces in the square in front of the Old San Giacomo Town Hall.
For the first time the Central Corfu & Diapontia Islands Municipality organised a celebration to welcome in the New Year in the Old Town Hall Square with happenings and lots of treats and music.
Locals and visitors gathered to wish each other a Happy New Year.
Mayor Meropi Ydraiou was, naturally, present along with other members of the Municipality and local authority.
