Alternative Cultural Workshop: Free-exchange bazaar



Corfu Alternative Cultural Workshop is organising a free - exchange bazaar on 14 & 15 December at Corfu 1st/5th Junior High School.

On Saturday 14th the bazaar will be open from 12:00 to 20:00. There will be a narration of the Christmas story and visitors will have the opportunity to try some Christmas wine.

On Sunday 15th the bazaar will open earlier at 11:00 and children will have the chance to make Christmas gifts and watch some children's films.

Repeat performance of musical 'Sing with Me'



Female Echoes performed the musical last month with great success and will now be putting it on again - with some Christmas touches - on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 December at 19:30 at EPTA Arts Centre!

Exhibition at Corfu Art Gallery: 'Macrocosmos' by Penelope Voltera



Penelope Voltera is a painter, sculptor and poet. She was born and grew up in Athens, where she attended Athens Technological Institute. She started painting and moved to Corfu, where she still lives and works.

Retrospective art exhibition - "Angelos Giallinas (1857 - 1939) - With Corfiot light and colour"



The exhibition opens at the Municipal Art Gallery on Friday 26 July at 20:00.

Exhibition of Maps: "Corfu by the Great Cartographers"



Corfu Municipal Art Gallery is exhibiting some of the artistically and scientifically important maps of Corfu from its collection.

From Thursday 25 April the works of these cartographers will be on exhibition in chronological order, covering four centuries, allowing us to see the development of cartography from the 17th century Baroque period, when aesthetics dominated, to the early 19th century, when there was an almost complete absence of any decorative items.

The exhibition will display 15 engravings in the central room of the Gallery's Permanent Exhibition.
