American activist for animal rights Victor Sjodin in Corfu

CORFU. Special event in Corfu on Tuesday 5 November with the American speaker and activist for animal rights Victor Sjodin.

As part of his European tour Victor Sjodin will be giving a talk "The Unexamined Meal" at the Polytechno centre.

Victor is Vice-President of the American international non-profit organisation Vegan Outreach which was founded in 1993 to stop exploitation of and violence against animals.

To date he has spoken at over 700 universities and to hundreds of people worldwide. His talk "The Unexamined Meal" examines the impact of what we eat on animals, the climate, human longevity, our ethics and, most important of all, what we can do about these.

The talk will take place at Polytechno on Tuesday 5 November at 20:30.

Attendees will have the opportunity to try vegan food and sweets at the end.
