The Coast Guards has been searching for a boat off Othoni Island since Thursday night following a call to the European 112 emergency number at 21:45.
According to APE-MPE, there are 38-40 immigrants on board the boat. Two Coast Guard patrol boats are taking part in the search along with a Frontex patrol boat and helicopter. Weather conditions are fine.
