Civil Defence sirens will sound on Wednesday morning

CORFU. The sirens will sound on Wednesday 2 October as part of the ΄Parmenion 2019΄ exercise.
Civil Defence emergency sirens will go off throughout Greece on Wednesday morning as follows:
- At 11:00 the emergency siren will sound for an air attack and will last 60 seconds.
- At 11:05 the end-of-emergency siren will sound and will last 60 seconds.
The initial siren will have fluctuating intensity and the end-of-emergency siren will be a continuous sound.
This will be purely an exercise and there will be no need for concern.
