CORFU. The 3rd working meeting of the "Network of Theatres for the valorization of cultural and natural heritage" will take place in Corfu on 4 & 5 September.
Corfu DIPETHE (Municipal & Regional Theatres) is organising the 3rd working meeting of the members of the "Network of Theatres for the valorization of cultural and natural heritage" (NeTT). The meeting will take place at Faliraki in Corfu Town.
The purpose of the meeting is to organise and coordinate activities and ensure their successful implementation.
The leading partner of the project is Puglia Public Theatre Consortium and other partners from Italy are Petruzzelli Opera House and Theatres of Bari Foundation. The Region of Puglia Finance & Culture Department is an affiliate partner.
Partners from Greece are Corfu DIPETHE, Patras Municipal Theatre and Achaia Chamber of Commerce.
The project aims to promote the significant role that theatre plays in enhancing cultural heritage and to develop connections with businesses involved in cultural and creative industries in Greece and Italy.
Activities include workshops to help support those involved in the cultural and creative industries with funding, promotion and the development of collaborative networks as well as the collaboration of theatres with local economic bodies in order to organise theatre performances and cultural events to promote the local cultural heritage.
