CORFU. The latest photos and video from Lefkimmi landfill remind everyone of the situation there.
Following the video posted by Temploni Cultural Society, it was the turn of Lefkimmi landfill.
Lefkimmi resident Grigoris Vergis posted a video on Facebook reminding everyone of what is happening at the South Corfu landfill.
He writes: "Lefkimmi landfill video - 7/8/2019 14:50. For everyone water is a source of life but for us here it is cancer. The water is bubbling at the centre of the cell with the waste bales and is seeping into the water table ... the bales have the stench of death"
