New Government to abolish ban on quad bikes

ATHENS. Deputy Minister for Transport Yiannis Kefaloyiannis announced that the ban on quad bikes up to 125cc will be abolished
When asked at an interview at the Athens/Macedonia News Agency, the Deputy Minister said the general ban on quad bikes up to 125cc was absurd. "May I remind you that we are talking about vehicles that are approved by current EU legislation, have vehicle registrations and pay annual road tax. We will immediately abolish the general ban. In any case, local authorities will still be able to limit where these vehicles can be driven as stated in Article 52 of the Highway Code."
