CORFU. Now that the celebrations are over the Mayor of Corfu Kostas Nikolouzos thanked all those who worked over Easter.
He thanked the Police, the Fire Service and the Port Authority as well as everyone else including Municipal employees who worked over Easter - contributing to the success of the celebrations despite the large number of visitors and the limitations of the Municipality.
He also thanked the visitors who chose to visit Corfu - confirming the island's reputation as a top Easter destination.
