CORFU. There was an accident on Monday (15/4) morning on the Eth. Pelekas Rd at Triklino-Alepou when a 58-year-old van driver went into the opposite lane.
According to reliable sources, the driver Yiannis Tzilios went into the opposite lane and then off the road. He was taken by ambulance to the hospital where he passed away.
Corfu Traffic Police is investigating the cause of the accident.
