Huge number of canisters with dangerous laughing gas discovered in Corfu

CORFU. During a search of storage space belonging to a trader at Corfu Customs 2½ covered palettes were discovered with 55,400 canisters.
The canisters contained extremely dangerous laughing gas (hippy crack) as well as balloons, which are used to inhale the gas. The trader didn't have proper documentation for the stock.
Hippy crack has been responsible for at least 17 deaths in Britain over the last six years and is popular in tourist resorts known for their night life. There have been two recent incidents in Crete and Corfu where tourists fell into a coma after using the gas.
Corfu Customs confiscated all the gas canisters and transferred them to its own storage space. The case has been passed to the Prosecutor.
