Presentation of Integrated Waste Management study in Corfu

CORFU. Two important studies for waste management were presented in the Foyer of the Municipal Theatre this morning.
The first presentation was the Integrated Waste Management study and the second was the study for the repair and restoration of the three cells at Temploni landfil.
Representatives from the EPTA company, who are in Corfu, and SYDISA (Solid Waste Management Association) presented the studies to municipal and regional councillors, local political party leaders, the Chamber of Commerce, the Technical Chamber, the Trade Association and tourism professionals.
The construction of the Integrated Waste Management facility will take 18 months from the signing of the contract with a budget of 32,750,000 Euros (incl. VAT) for the construction and operation of the facility.
The facility will be built at the 'Akrokefalos' site in Temploni in a 115.51 stremma plot of land (where the Central Corfu landfill and Recycling Centre are situated).
