The deadline for voting is Friday 30 November.

Following the great success of the first competition, EUFCN (European Film Commission Network) has announced the 2nd EUFCN Location Awards competition for the best European location in the film and TV industries.

EUFCN has 90 members in 30 countries who promote European locations for film and audiovisual productions. The competition is being conducted in collaboration with Cineuropa. The Network celebrated its 10th anniversary last year with a special event at the European Parliament where the Award was established.

The Hellenic Film Commission (a member of EUFCN) from the Hellenic Cinema Centre (EKK) is please to announce that its nomination has once again been included in the finalists. The nomination is Corfu, one of the UNESCO Monument Sites in Greece, where the highly popular TV series 'The Durrells' was filmed for ITV and PBS (4 series).

Until 30 November 2018 the public can vote on the Cineuropa site - www.cineuropa.org.

Apart from voting for the location they love in the Location Award, EUFCN and Cineuropa will pick a winner from among all the voters who will have the chance to visit the winning location! The winner will benefit from two nights of accommodation for two people.
