CORFU. There were plenty of positive comments about the Acharavi Children΄s Choir who gained valuable experience at the 38th International Choir Festival.
The Festival took place in Kifisia, Athens on 24th and 25th November.
There was a full house at Kifisia Town Hall where choirs from all over Greece and abroad performed in the high-quality festival.
Acharavi Children's Choir performed Greek and international songs showing the excellent work that the Acharavi Society and the conductor Agathi Koskina have done.
The wonderfully expressive children once again showed the musical identity and talent that all the island's choirs have when they perform away from Corfu and are now busy preparing for performances in December.
The Acharavi Choir was accompanied on piano by Maria Koletti and at the end of the evening received warm congratulations and a distinction for their performance at the Festival, which this year was dedicated to Pavlos Melas and the Macedonian struggle.
