Culmination of the Russian gastronomical feast!

CORFU. Dishes from Pskov and Perm were the highlights of the first two days in Corfu and tonight the Russian Gastronomy Week in Athens and Corfu will culminate in Kontokali with a dinner including dishes from Northern Russia.

The Greek-Russian gastronomy event is coming to its conclusion following great success and a plethora of tastes and aromas. The second half of the Russian Gastronomy Week took place in Corfu at the Hotel Art Debono in Gouvia and the Kontokali Bay Resort & Spa.

The President of the Russian National Gastronomy Association Viktor Belyaev and Chef Rashid Rakhmanov were the leading figures in Corfu. Culinary 'treasures' were created and presented, especially from the Perm region, and there was discussion of the tourist potential and production process of food and drink from Pskov. Following these there was a dinner highlighting the cuisine of the Pskov region prepared by Chef Sergei Evdokimov which attracted a large number of diners.

Dinner -  The cuisine of Northern Russia and Pustozerk.

Chefs - Denis Karapetov (Arkhangelsk region) and Alexander Ermolin (Yamalo-Nenets region).

Kontokali Bay Resort & Spa

The event - the first half of which took place in Athens - is part of the Greek-Russian Tourism Year and is being organized for the 4th year running by the International Center of Wine and Gastronomy in Moscow in collaboration with the World Tourism Organization and with the support of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Culture, the Greek Ministry of Tourism, the National Greek Tourist Organization and other Russian and Greek business organizations.
