CORFU. This Sunday we go from summer time to winter time.
On Sunday 28 October - the last Sunday of the month - we will change from summer time to winter time. At 04:00 on Sunday morning the clocks go back to 03:00 - giving us 1 hour of extra sleep!
The change of time, however, will no longer be in force in the European Union from 2019 following the European Commission's decision. Each country must decide by 29 April 2019 whether it is going to keep the summer or winter time.
