Two Russian cigarette smugglers caught by Corfu Customs

CORFU. The two Russians had been systematically smuggling cigarettes say the Customs Authorities.
They were arrested when they arrived at Corfu Airport on Sunday. The cigarettes were found when their luggage was searched by Customs and it is estimated that in this instance the loss of tax and duties to the state would be almost 9,000 Euros!
There were two pieces of baggage and two pieces of hand baggage full of cigarettes in packets of 20 which originated in Belarus and had adhesive stamps.
