CORFU. Following their 3-month tour, ΄Tris Laloun΄ are coming home and will be performing Aristophanes΄ "Peace" at Casa Lucia on Friday 24 August at 19:00 for children aged 4 and over.
"Peace" begins with a middle-aged Athenian Trygaeus, who is sick of war, taking his life in his hands and flying to Mount Olympus on a giant beetle to try and reason with the gods.
"Why should there not be peace in the world?"
His longing for peace brings solutions to the surprises and obstacles he comes up against along with his dedication and cooperation with others who have grown sick of war and are prepared to do something about it.
A wonderfully entertaining performance where the children can help decide how the story develops.
Puppeteer: Thomas Gouzias
Set and puppets: Thomas Gouzias, Eleni Kanta, Anastasia Karafylla
Director: Eleni Kanta
Duration: 60 minutes
Admission with voluntary donations
