'Mediterranea Mente' exhibition at the Old Fortress Flour Stores



΄Mediterranea Mente - reminiscences of an Italian artist on the Phaeacian Island΄ by Beppe Labianca is being held in the St. George Flour Stores in the Old Fortress and will run until 9 September.

2-day traditional fair at Ipsos harbour



Phaeaces Sports Club is organizing a traditional fair at Ipsos harbour on 11 & 12 August. On 11 August the band 'The guys from Garouna' will be performing with Angelos Skolarikis.

As is well known, George IV, as Prince Regent of the United Kingdom, founded the Order of St Michael and St George in Corfu and in Malta on 28 April 1818, two hundred years ago. This forms part of Corfu’s history and belongs to its heritage.

Art exhibition 'Giorgos Koulouris 1945 - 2016' at the Museum of Asian Art

The exhibition runs until Sunday 30th December and aims to give the public the opportunity to learn more about the charismatic Ioannis Capodistrias and to show the influence of his work on modern-day society.

The Art of Uzbekistan Carpets and Textiles at the Museum of Asian Art



The new permanent exhibition at the Museum of Asian Art ‘The Art of Central Asia’. The exhibits have been donated by Yiannis Sartzetakis and Ruth Dayton and include woven textiles, knitted textiles, clothing and jewels from 19^th century Central Asia.

Corfu Cretan Society - Traditional Cretan Fair at Spilia



9th Cretan Fair 9 - 11 August.
The fair will take place in Spilia Square at the port with three days of fun, music, dancing, tsikoudia and grilled food. There will also be stands with Cretan products.

Planet Caravan concert at the Gymnasium



The Cricket teams of the Corfu Gymnastics Club (Kerkyraikos Gymnastikos Syllogos) in collaboration with the rock band "Planet Caravan" are organizing a Live Rock Party, at the “Gymnasium” ( Str. Dessylla 1) at 21.00.

The rock band "Planet Caravan" will hold a two-hour show full of classical successes, mainly from the rock scene, by bands such as Pink Floyd, Queen, Van Halen, Bad Company, AC/DC and more.

Revenues will be spent exclusively on cricket equipment.

The party will also be supported by the Corfu Compost Project team which will be actively present. The team will take care of proper waste management during the party, ensuring that recyclable waste ends up where it should. The team will be available to everyone for information about this and other activities.
